We are a community minded, socially responsible café which is proud to provide real fruit smoothies, traditional styled boiled and baked bagels, VT cream cheeses, tofutti, spreads, fair-trade and organic coffee, grilled Panini sandwiches, and mouth-watering baked goods.
We offer fair trade beverages, healthy fare, and a fine selection of local beer and wine. North Star Music Café is a place where you can come sink into a comfy couch with a latte or a cup of herbal tea and your laptop, use the free wi-fi, wander around and look at the local art on the walls, or grab and beer and see some of the area’s best acoustic performers.
The Café Review has never sought, nor received any grant or foundation money. We have never had any affiliation with an academic institution. This journal came from and maintains its grass roots beginnings. Our support comes from one source-- kind, educated people with a genuine interest in some of the world's best poetry - people who look to keep the idea of quality small press poetry from extinction.
